Environmental Assessment Services, LLC (EAS) is an established environmental services firm. Founded in 2005, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Natives of Kodiak since 2015, EAS specializes in environmental site characterization and assessment, compliance and permitting, natural and cultural resource management, and planning, among other disciplines.
EAS is currently seeking a Restoration Ecologist. This is a full-time position located in the Riverside/Anaheim, California area.
The Restoration Ecologist will provide technical leadership on ecological restoration projects while assisting the Project Manager with project management functions from planning through implementation and project close-out. The ideal candidate is a restoration professional who can lead and supervise ecological field work, mentor staff, and assist with managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This specific position requires regular outdoor field work in varying environmental conditions, including high temperatures, direct sunlight, humidity, wind, dust, and uneven terrain. Candidates must be comfortable working in hot weather for extended periods. The employee is frequently required, sometimes for extended periods, to walk, stand, or sit. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders or stairs; use hands to type, finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and get in and out of vehicles. The employee might occasionally lift and/or move small or large objects up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicle, prepare and analyze data, and work on computers.
